About Joost de Kinderen

As an international healthcare executive with 25 years of leadership across MedTech, Pharma, real-world evidence, and integrated care, Joost de Kinderen brings sound judgment at the intersection of clinical, operational, and financial decision-making, contributing to strategy, risk oversight, and resilience in complex, regulated environments.Joost has experienced and learned from the good, the bad, and the ugly in different scaling business contexts. He scaled multi-site operations -from inception of a managed services & consulting unit to a mature business unit- in a corporate venture at Medtronic. He has led a Digital Health / CRO startup through turbulence and to an exit by acquisition and integration in a another scaleup at Galenus Health/Cascador Health. As Transformation Leader at Philips he merged and restructured two business units to become more lean, customer-centric, and future-proof.
Joost brings rigor, a calm, analytical, and systems-thinking approach, combined with a strong ethical compass, and experience in working across cultures and stakeholders, including clinical and industry partners. Joost fosters a growth mindset, balances daring and caring, and is currently completing the IMD Board Program to formalise his governance capabilities.
